one thing I know I can do on this X60 is instead of using the Neverware version of ChromeOS, I can use the latest bleeding edge version of Chromium. The former was based on Chromium 53, this one I'm using now is based on Chromium 57. Seems faster, better behaved, but will need to do some further testing.

that's a limitation of 32bit OS/hardware. I believe this X60 is also a pre-SATA model and it's really not worth putting any money into it. Wonder if I can boot off of an old SD card I have…

Seems like my Lenovo X60s running ChromeOS is pretty easy to overload. 2GB of RAM causes lots of swapping with only a few tabs open.

Yes he did ?

Yup, I ordered a new meter and strips from jet.com for less than what I paid for the strips alone from iHealth. I just hope they arrive before I run out of strips on my old meter…

Ok I ordered a new Contour Next meter and test strips on your recommendation. I'm blaming you if it doesn't work out :P
