apparently, yes.

Ok, so I installed Wickr for the first time in forever. My old ID doesn't work and, as I suspected, almost no one I know is using it. sigh

most of the people I'm interested in knowing from Nokia days I either still work with at Check Point or am already connected to on various social media platforms. Still, lots of cool memories are being shared (some I knew, some I didn't, being that I was a remote worker for a division that didn't have much to do with phones).

@skematica I've used Wickr in the past (and they showed it on Mr Robot) but it's the usual "few people I know use it" problem

Someone created an Alumni-type group on Facebag for people who used to work for Nokia. Spent 10 years there.

20 years into my career and I still struggle to introduce myself over email.

My laptop is almost out of battery. Guess that means I'm done for the day

Nothing beyond the fact that people I know use it. Which is pretty much the only reason I use many of the communication mechanisms that exist.

@thrrgilag sadly, yes. I'd use it if people I knew actively used it. They mostly use WhatsApp (which, thankfully, has improved it's security recently).

we'll live. It's part of the "beta" experience.
