Funny how the Prius gamifies driving, encouraging "ecologically friendly" behavior. #nt IMG_4153.JPG

Even though I am burning less gas with my new Prius, it's got big batteries full of cobalt. The business of mining cobalt [washingtonpost.com] is not exactly clean…

I have the disposable income, but I still prefer not to spend the money (especially AirPod kind of money) or charge bluetooth headphones.

I'm also of the opinion this problem will have better solutions by the time I upgrade my iPhone on the next cycle, either because of advancing technology or because Apple got so much backlash they put the headphone jack back in.

I'm glad most End of Quarter activity doesn't involve me. Calm before the storm, as it were.

when you consider what people had to work with 30 years ago, it's amazing any of it worked as well as it did. :P

limitations are fun to work with. Force you to be creative and all that.

yeah, I guess I ran Netware and TCP/IP on a Windows 3.11 machine (DOS underneath)… but yeah, if you can only address 64k of RAM at a time… O.o

obviously ?

a DOS app.net client? Does DOS even TCP/IP? ?
