my current laptop is a 12". The extra size will be a bonus.

we have a lot of different endpoint bits and bobs. Customers sometimes mix and match them, with varying results of course.

I had been debating it for a while. Having the power button break was what pushed it over the edge for me.

That and I saw that our IT folks were now shipping out the Dell E7470 [notebookcheck.net] as their standard "techie" laptop--a huge improvement over what they were giving out previously.
