Right now I'm one of about 7,500 customers affected just in the immediate area. Other nearby utilities are reporting similar issues.

Why can't they bury the powerlines around these parts? It's not like there isn't trees around here and windstorms aren't a regular thing. ?

Power is back, podcasts to published are queued and I can sleep with my CPAP running. Balance has been restored.

Alrighty the podcasts I have recorded have been queued up, after being interrupted by a lack of power. And yes, I have an episode about Daylight Saving Time in the queue. ?

And the power has come back on, as expected. Now I need to make sure the computers come back online…
