@height8 I think I've seen the behavior you're talking about. The difference there is "active session" versus "new session." Of course if we're being "paranoid" secure, we should cut off the active session as well. :P

@height8 depends on if it's expired on the server side as well. And I don't trust end users to log out and clear cookies. I mean, that's what security minded folks do, but let's face it, almost no one is. :P
