@matigo here's a better version of the photo [www.flickr.com] from my Flickr stream. Not sure where the original photo is anymore.

@matigo the guys from Microsoft put a big Internet Explorer logo on the lawn of the Netscape campus in Mountain View. Netscape responded.

At the time, Netscape still had a majority of the browser market share but that changed quickly.
