All that trouble disassembling the iPhone to realize: I still have the screen problem, but it seems I decreased it. I probably need double-sided tape for the battery so it won't wiggle and cause the problem.
My iPhone is apart again. Last time I had it apart I put a little too much sticky stuff under the battery. Was causing too much pressure on the upper left of the screen when I tapped there. >•<
