@kdfrawg you do realize you can hit the Share button in Safari and share to 1Password, which will fill in the login information for you, right? It also works with LastPass. I use this all the time.
Android is a different story. I decided not to enable whatever accessibility feature was needed to perform the same task, which I figured was probably abusable somehow.

@jws I’ve only managed to achieve “no browser plugins” on the Mac, which is what I am primarily using right now. LastPass really encourages you to use browser plugins, though…
On the whole a password manager is going to enable better security to be practiced, even if it creates new risks that didn’t exist before. Most people are going to opt for a solution that has low friction, thus why a solution like LastPass is preferable and the changes 1Password are making are understandable.
Obviously if you are willing to tolerate friction, you can choose a “more secure” solution.

@matigo We’ll ignore the fact AV alone probably won’t stop you from catching WannaCry. That said the fact they’ve limited admin rights will help tremendously.
@matigo who knows. My allergies in general have been mildly worse this year. This is the first time in a while where they flared up to the point I went scrambling for the Benadryl.
I either have a cold or bad allergies. Can't tell which, but I'm miserable all the same.

@kdfrawg I feel only marginally better that I work for a company that has found more than half of the zero-day malware in Android last year… and I can deploy their stuff on my handsets.
Obviously it's no guarantees, but it's not like I'm flying completely blind and unprotected either, which the average person surely is. :P
@matigo My TRS-80 Model MC-10 (Tandy's version of the Vic 20 or the Timex Sinclair or whatever) had 4k and then my Dad got the 16k memory expansion for it. :P
@kdfrawg I don't trust Android security, which is why I don't do anything particularly important on these phones. That said, they might be more cost-effective than buying a new iPhone every two years.
