After asking for a new Mac from the day job in September, I finally got a new one this week: MacBook Air M4. This will replace the MacBook Pro M1 with a janky touchbar I've been using for the last few years.
Other than a much better keyboard and a smaller onboard storage, I'm hard-pressed to tell the difference in performance.
