It might be better hardware, but Android handsets that get their software updates from anywhere but Google are complete non-starters for me.

I don't think ADN had the sole copy of anything I truly wanted to save. That said, the packrat in me feels safe in the knowledge I can have it all. :P

ludolphus's node.js script gets all the files. It requires some assembly, but it gets the job done.

Back to the Israeli coffee at home. It is so good.

If you actually want to download your FILES (not your social data) off of App.Net, this will do the trick: https://gist.github.com/ludolphus/37fccaa32600846e759e1c693feeaf43

I am genetically predisposed to being a packrat. It's taken some effort, but I do periodically purge stuff that has limited or no value. I also make an effort not to acquire in the first place as what I do acquire tends to hang around a while. There's a reason my office has so many functional computers in it :P

I'm actually using my domains, just not all of them have websites associated :)

I think I can count the number of domains on one hand still :P

I also have a site hosted on a VM… and a site hosted on GitHub. I can't make up my mind. :P

sounds positive but actions speak louder than words.
