makes total sense. I have a VPN that I fire up at times (not just for work).

I thought social media leading up to the election was bad. Now, O.o

they should be, but they clearly are not. I see it when I share my posts on Twitter and Faceborg

Hey you should also update the OpenGraph and Twitter Card data to reflect the actual post versus just the site details.

If the protests are about who occupies a particular white house (either in full or in part), then they are wasting their time. No amount of protesting will make him step down. You're better off trying to find another candidate to vote for in 2020.

If the protests are about Women's Rights or some other issue, I have a less of an issue provided they are also taking more concrete steps, such as writing their representatives in government at ALL levels (local, state, national).

@japchap perhaps I should have said "their intended impact" versus "any" impact. There could be some impact, but they may not like it.

Protesting out of fear, I get. Even so, I think the odds of the intended message reaching him and having any impact on what he does is quite small.

but protesting his mere existence does nothing to actually change the fact he's still there. In fact, there's precious little one can do to change that except for vote for someone else in the next election.

we have DMs now? :)
