@larand ah, you're using the cheap and cheerful model. Nothing wrong with that :)

@larand that is really good pricing. I also like that, worst case, I can walk into a drug store and buy these strips. I have to order the iHealth ones directly from them.
Which of their glucometers are you using? I see their USB [amazon.com] one…
// @JeremyCherfas
@larand that's a similar deal to the iGluco strips, which are $12.50/50. If I have to replace my iGluco meter, maybe I'll look at that the Bayer one.

@JeremyCherfas Glucose meters are cheap enough, it's the test strips that really get you. A large part of why I use the iGluco meter is the cheaper test strips.
One of my old Nokia comrades now works at Light [light.co]. He offered to let be beta test the new L16 camera. Looks like an awesome camera, can't wait to try it out! #nt

Re your ETP episode @JeremyCherfas: As someone who struggles with weight, diabetes, and all that entails, I get really frustrated at all the conflicting advice I receive about what's healthy, what's not, etc. Sadly, I suspect it's largely due to all the competing interests for my pocketbook and nothing to do with my (or anyone else's) health.
