@matigo They've made the math so complicated now, the teachers can't even teach it. Yes, my wife has had this exact conversation with my daughter's math teacher.
It would have been more accurate to call it "No Child Left Unscathed" rather than "No Child Left Behind." :P

@kdfrawg We did fresh (as in we cut them down) Christmas Trees for years. Recently we stopped and went with fake ones but with the garage cleanup needed for another car, our bigger fake tree had no place to live anymore. Today, we bought one off a lot run by some folks we know. That's in addition to a smaller, fake tree.

@skematica most of the LED strands I've seen don't put out anything you might recognize as light. Also, these lights were on a snowman.
Some outdoor Christmas decorations were put up today. Which meant, of course, wrestling with strands of lights that must be troubleshot one by one. ??
