I think it was about 30, but:

  1. We live in a geographic hole, making TV reception challenging. The only reason I tried it again was the last time I checked was nearly a decade ago (prior to the digital transition in the US).

  2. Anywhere I could put the antenna to improve the signal would be highly visible (not acceptable to my wife) and still did not pull in signal consistently enough to make it worth the trouble.

As such, the only ways to get local channels at my house is to pay the Comcast ransom.

Looks like Comcast will still get my money for TV for the foreseeable future. Antenna just doesn't cut it.

Kinda weird being in a Starbucks on a Saturday, but I'm up in Redmond and I have a few hours to kill.

@kdfrawg you had me scared for a bit. :o

I'm aware of how big DC is. I have friends and family that live there. "Taxation without Representation" is something you see on license plate covers on cars with DC plates on them.

they should. It's silly they're not.

The boy is looking to go here for college. He's here taking a workshop in a program he's interested in. #nt

I haven't run into that in quite some time. That said it is also our Tax ID number, which it probably shouldn't be.
