@jws Well that explains the choice anyway. I have to assume this won't change until someone does a similar effort with another language.
@larand I'm using trust.zone. It's a little more fiddly and only supports up to 3 devices, but it's $14/year cheaper and a bit better on privacy.

@jussipekonen All good questions, of course. On its face, it seems we should be using something just a bit more modern. That said, I thought stuff like Backus Naur Form [en.wikipedia.org] was invented to torture unsuspecting Computer Science students1 and the continued use of Java may be just another form of that. :P

Can someone explain to me why AP Computer Science is focusing on Java and not a more modern language? I taught myself Java (to a point) 20 years ago :P
