Lovely to see so many messages posted overnight.

@x

George Burns and Gracie Allen. It's a bit before our time, of course, but still famous in the US.

You've clearly never heard of Burns and Allen. :P

Say goodnight, Gracie.

doesn't work on Safari on Mac, I found out. I'm trying out another one there, one called Adguard (based on some Reddit thread I was reading).

Anyone looking for a decent ad blocker for their browser, uBlock Origin is where it's at.

with a couple of nice servers and virtualization, you can get a lot of the benefits of AWS without paying them every month. (but that upfront cost though)

You articulated a large part of the reason I am only using AWS for backups (Glacier and short-term S3 storage) and not for, say, hosting my website. It's too easy for costs to run away.

It's also why super large services tend to move stuff back in-house as the costs of purchasing and maintaining owned infrastructure versus AWS start to become cheaper at scale.

now I see what the @x is for: to prevent Cappuccino from crossposting. Maybe needs to permareserve that name for that purpose :P

I would consider it a "nice to have" at this point. At a minimum inline links should be handled well.
