Listening to our new head of worldwide sales on a conference call. I already like this guy.
My iPhones as well as those of my kids are now upgraded to iOS 10. Need to upgrade the wife's phone today.

@matigo Final Fantasy XV makes about as much sense as "20GB of limitless data" (on a Verizon ad). :P
@larand As I said, I'm a wired headphone person too. An accessory to a device should not cost more than 5-10% of the device the accessory is for. The Apple AirPods are a fair bit more than that, as are any "decent" headphones, wired or otherwise. And wireless headphones so far have been a shitshow.
If I had to make the choice now, I'd still probably continue on with Apple because I find the Android alternatives not to my liking in many other areas. In a year, when the 's' models come out, the calculus will likely be different.
@larand As someone who uses wired headphones DAILY, I can see both sides of this.
My take: by forcing the issue, the resulting wireless headphones will eventually be better. They're going to suck (or be expensive) in the meantime. Meanwhile, I'm not buying a new phone anytime soon, so I'll continue to use my wired headphones.
