7 Seas is very reasonably priced in the taproom ($4 a pint). I believe Gig Harbor Distillery's prices are also reasonable, but I haven't personally checked.

the liquor laws (which vary by state) may also have something to do with it as well…

it's also somewhat of an upscale town. That said Tacoma (across the bridge) has quite a few also, including a new 7 Seas Taproom (they just expanded).

Actually it's ridiculous how many breweries there are in the Pacific Northwest.

always a good person to blame stuff on. ?

Damn, I had no idea Gig Harbor had THREE local breweries. It's not that big a town. ?

@thrrgilag actually I take that back: there are THREE breweries. 7 Seas was first, then we have Wet Coast and Gig Harbor Brewery (the last of which has their Taproom in Tacoma). There's also Gig Harbor Distillery for the harder stuff.

My little town in Washington state has one microbrewer (beer) AND one microdistillery. They both produce quality product.

Ok, I seem to have returned back from my trip from Utah and New England. Managed to be in all four continental US timezones this week. O.o
