Booked the rest of my travel for August. It's going to be a busy month. O.o

yup, I ran into the same thing with the stuff my doctor prescribed. I opted for the iHealthLabs stuff, buy the strips directly from them.

There's a blog post in me about the album Amused to Death [en.wikipedia.org] and how when I shared it with my best friend at the time, he just didn't get it. It was also probably the beginning of the end of our friendship.

that's just fucking rude.

a more fundamental question to answer is: who decides what is in the public good and whether the government should be the one providing for that public good?

Also it's worth noting that most people in a political party aren't in total lock-step with the party platform (i.e. they agree with many planks of it, but might quibble over the details). In general, I'm for LESS government (thus why I tend to identify more often than not as a Libertarian) but there are places where someone without a profit motive should probably be in charge (e.g. prisons, which are being privatized in the US).

that hasn't happened so far…

Some others: Fleetwood Mac, Frampton Comes Alive…
