If the airlines were actually serious about limiting carry-ons, they'd charge MORE for checking bags at the gate.

TSA PreCheck is great except when it’s closed, the staff is trying to provide those benefits anyway, and provides inconsistent instructions.
Alright I think it's time to start navigating towards the airport so maybe I can get home sometime today.
@matigo it is mostly because I insist on controlling the entire thing and not let "some service" do it. Clearly I need to rethink this.
