After enduring 6 second ping times today, I’m getting 6 millisecond ping times now. Crazy.
Had Comcast owned up to the network maintenance rather than their customer disservice telling me my modem wasn’t in their system, I’d be much happier.
Now I have to put my network back together. Thanks, Comcast, for making me tear it apart to troubleshoot YOUR problem. #Comcastic
I'm showing Comcast they are number one with my middle finger. They clearly don't care because they clearly don't have to.
The funny thing is, I saw the modem (by MAC address) in my Xfinity app, when I looked later. I was getting service, it was just very laggy and dropping packets, which of course Comcast denied was happening and refused to help.
Spent my entire fucking day troubleshooting a Comcast-induced problem they denied existed when I called their customer disservice department, who also claimed the very same modem I had been using for years wasn't in their system anymore.
