@matigo it's amazing how much your brain affects your perception of reality.

Wow, I wasn't expecting those thoughts tonight. I'm suddenly all verklempt.

Around 5 years ago from today, I was driving down to Redding to see my dad right before he passed away. Mentally he was already mostly gone by then.

Ironically it wasn't lung cancer that killed him, for all the smoking he did. It was brain cancer.
