in the past, we got them from Cinnabon. They've been increasingly more difficult to get over the last few years, and one of our neighbors knew how to make them…so we're going that route.

It's definitely less sugar than Cinnabon, which my blood sugar will appreciate.

In "airlines are fucking high" news:

SEA > BCN leaving and returning on a Saturday: $1450
SEA > BCN leaving on a Sunday returning Friday: $2900

So I get to spend an extra two days in Barcelona. Twist my arm, why don't you.

On the last travel snafu, it looks like a misunderstanding on both sides. I will be allowed to claim the mistake on my expenses, so there is that.

pretty much.

it had to be tested before Christmas morning, where a Cinnamon Roll is our custom.

My wife and daughter were taught how to make cinnamon rolls yesterday. Today, they made some. I had a tiny one, which meant breaking my fast for the day a little earlier than I would normally. It wasn't too sweet (thankfully) but I consumed a bit of cheese and put heavy cream in my coffee to satiate me.

Hopefully my wife isn't making dinner this evening and I can just skip tonight.

usually in a few days, but you know, Christmas.

Blood drawn for the usual assortment of labs. My blood glucose at that point (per my meter) was an 81 mg/dL. A 3-month average readings suggest my A1C will be a 5.3%, which is much lower than the 6.5% actual I had in August.

Now, we wait…

clearly.

I don't usually need the travel agency to actually book the travel, just to make changes to existing itineraries. This one was complex, with me originally being in three locations collapsing down to two.

Clearly I need to check their work a lot more closely in the future.

The final insult to injury on my NYC trip: apparently, our corporate travel agency didn't bother to cancel the hotel in DC I didn't need, so I got charged a no-show fee.

Oh well, just another entry on the expense report.
