I guess if I'm going to complain to @matigo about OpenGraph tags that 10C is generating, I should fix my own on other sites :P
Having an issue with some HTML @matigo. Specifically, this:
<link rel="canonical" href="http://phoneboy.info/">
This shows for every page on my site as this particular value and not it's actual URL (e.g. http://phoneboy.info/2017/10/26/pulling-from-the-skinny-drawer). This causes Facebook to use the OpenGraph tags for the main phoneboy.info page and not the URL in question.
Can you please fix this when you got a moment?
@matigo Seattle to Amsterdam is 9 hours, it’s another 90 minutes or so to Copenhagen.
Besides, I also “sleep” through some podcasts. ?
@matigo on the flight back from Atlanta, I actually ran out of podcasts to listen to. Next week, I'm flying to Denmark. I think I'll be fine. :P
@matigo I spend a lot of time in shiny metal tubes with shit or no Internet. :P
I'm getting word that No Agenda just finished their 10 year anniversary episode, which clocks in at nearly 8 hours. That is a very long podcast.
@kdfrawg the barista even admitted it was silly, but "company policy" she said.
@kdfrawg funny story that happened this week.
I went to a Starbucks that was in a mall in the Atlanta area that was attached to a major department store that happens to be a Check Point customer. I ordered my typical 4 shots of espresso and I also ordered a venti ice water. They charged me $0.25 for the ice water (something a normal Starbucks doesn't do).
While waiting, I noticed they hadn't filled up the water yet and asked if they could instead fill up my aluminum container instead. They told me "had you asked for that to begin with, we wouldn't have charged you $0.25".
My response: They can have the $0.25 with my compliments.
@kdfrawg I'm surprised I walked out of there without being in a meat coma. I guess I'm keeping my gluttony in check or something.
