@kdfrawg I'd rather use a PC as a server, personally. The hardware is cheaper and, when I do dip into the CLI, I feel a bit more confident in my ability to tinker with Linux than I do a Mac. :)

@kdfrawg the funny thing is: we eat way more than we need to. Fasting (whether voluntary or not) is a natural thing for us to do, and we've been doing it as long as humans have existed.
While I wouldn't necessarily call it a cure like Upton Sinclair did in The Fasting Cure [archive.org], I definitely see and feel the benefits.
@kdfrawg I wish I could find a device that I wouldn't have to tinker with in some way. Macs require a little LESS tinkering than, say, a Windows PC, but they still have their issues.
Like resetting PRAM. And then your Mac not booting. ?

@kdfrawg yeah, that sounds a bit excessive. That said, if I fast for several days, that could be a possibility.
@kdfrawg Very aware that 1-2 pounds a week is considered "healthy." Not talking any more than that.
I wonder how much more weight I can lose between now and my doctor's appointment in the next two weeks.
@kdfrawg For a while now, there hasn't been too much of a delta between my blood glucose before I go to bed and after I wake up. That said, when your blood glucose is in the normal range, that jump is less concerning.
@kdfrawg finally have thinned out the blood in my caffeine stream, all right with the world again.
