@JeremyCherfas You can get SSL certificates from just about anyone. You can also get free ones using Lets Encrypt [letsencrypt.org]. Kinda depends on your hosting arrangement as to which is easier.

@kdfrawg The A1C number corresponds to an average blood glucose over 2-3 months. The app I use to track it can take my readings and calculate what the A1C should be (though it only goes back 30 days).

This is why I'm really curious what the actual result will be.

@kdfrawg It's especially annoying where my blood sugar is at right now. A 120 mg/dL reading could be anywhere from 102 (good!) to 138 mg/dL (just a little high).

Clearly these instruments aren't designed to help you actually improve your condition.
