@kdfrawg I wonder how modern French and Italian diets have been impacted by the expansion of the Western diet…

exactly, which is next to impossible.

@kdfrawg What's even more shocking is, several hours after dinner last night, I consumed an entire bottle of red wine. I'm shocked my blood glucose is actually lower, not higher.

@kdfrawg Very much so. Intermittent fasting also seems to make travel significantly easier, particularly the longer trips. Fasting seems to do wonders for beating jet lag. And reducing the number of trips one has to make to the lavatory.

So, yeah, I haven’t had a #bgnow below 100 mg/dL in a long time. I just hope it’s real and not “fake” like I experienced with my prior meter.

the funny thing is that it was right after my Milan trip that I started making changes. That was also the first week of my new job. I guess if you're going to make one change, why not a few? :)

@kdfrawg

Have to say, it’s been a while since I felt like my health is going in the right direction. I’ve dropped about 30 pounds over the last few months and my #bgnow readings have mostly been good.

you get much nicer accommodations than I do.

that would be a great deal for the San Francisco Bay Area. :P

@kdfrawg looks tasty in any case.
