@matigo I recorded a podcast [phoneboy.com] because of course I did.
// @jws
@jws it fails at the tasks I would need it to succeed at. The sleep tracking is the only thing it's really got going for it at this point.
The AutoSleep app on Apple Watch requires “adjustments” sometimes to get accurate results. The FitBit just works. It’s a shame the FitBit is an abject failure in every other respect.
@matigo the documentation says a week. Which is better than the Apple Watch which requires daily charging.
I won a FitBit Alta HR in a “lottery” of sorts at work as part of a health challenge for the day job.
For workouts, about the only benefit is it seems to do better at tracking my heart rate, but can’t see the screen outside, so it’s basically useless during the workout. It does better at tracking my sleep, which the Apple Watch requires a third party app to do with any granularity.
@matigo so when are you running away screaming from the current day job exactly? 😜
// @sumudu
@variablepulserate it also doesn’t help that my primary email address is both on Google and fucking unusable with the amount of lists it’s on.
Doing some long-needed partitioning as well.
