@sumudu I knew he was angling for a better title and our team does handle several high-profile tasks in marketing. Do hope that means he can get some extra head count.
@matigo with vaccines rolling out more widely, people are feeling more comfortable with in-person meetings in some areas. And seriously, it’s been a year, people are looking for some in-person contact.
That said, at a corporate level, in-person meetings with customers are not being required. Finance is requiring more documentation than usual for these sorts of expenses. And our major US offices still aren’t open for another month yet (not that I’m near one).
In other news, I apparently report to a Vice President now. No, I don’t report to a different person, he just got a promotion.
And…I got invited to a local customer meeting. In person. Which, seems…foreign.
@variablepulserate I don't bother with ANY mainstream TV show or movie for the most part precisely because it's mostly propaganda and unoriginal. About the only thing I watch is the occasional NFL game (and that's not in season right now).

@matigo I slept horribly last night. Wasn’t completely useless today, and I even went out for a run earlier, but I did spend a good chunk of the day napping and listening to podcasts because I just didn’t didn’t feel good. Feeling a lot better now.
