@matigo then why use a social network at all?
@matigo a global timeline only works if some effort is done to scrub it of spam. But I also think overall it's not the best approach.

As I said I've been through this countless times. You'd think I would have seen the pattern by now.
Somehow it's nearly 1am and my phone battery is below 20%. Which means I can expect to power down anytime now.
And of course the question I was trying to answer (and mostly rambling about) was what makes a social network sticky for the masses?

@matigo having been through this "oh look new shiny social network thing" too many times, I wonder what actually makes one "sticky" for the masses. Because if you get right down to it there's not THAT much difference between them.
