I can't be the only one who thinks this endless debate about which app to use is just fucking pointless. Support the devs you like, leave the others alone. It's ok to have preferences. You can even use multiple apps. It's ok. Let's not argue about it.

The problems with Android have their root in back-asswards telecom policy in the US. How you cannot truly choose your phone independently of your operator. And the spectrum and tech is not rationalized. Or you cannot truly unlock your phone.
