Slowing down a little to try and keep my heart rate in Zone 2.

@matigo It's funny, with all this fucking hysteria around Coronavirus--definitely happening around here as people are scrambling for certain supplies from local stores--I think about how the Israelis react to missiles coming from Gaza and elsewhere. Sure, when the sirens go off, meaning when actual missiles are in the air, people head to the bomb shelters to ensure they're not harmed, either by the missiles Iron Dome doesn't get or the falling debris from the ones that Iron Dome takes out. After the immediate threat is over, everything goes more or less back to normal.
Also, some perspective is useful here. More people have died from the regular flu virus than Coronavirus and most of those who died from Coronavirus have compromised immune systems to begin with. Not saying you shouldn't take precautions, but they're the same basic precautions you should take every day to prevent catching or spreading germs.
@sumudu why not? They're about the right height for it and have lots of storage. 😬

@axodys meanwhile an NFL season is 16 games, making each game that much more important.
@variablepulserate no, but sadly these kinds of disclaimers have to be put out there. 🙄
@matigo if I start jogging before daylight, I wear this vest precisely because it's reflective.
What amazes me is that people are out at that hour without wearing stuff like that. Especially when Amazon has those things for next to nothing.
@axodys they've been pretty terrible in that timeframe.
My general problem with baseball is that they play far too many games. Have the same basic issue with the NBA. Postseason of both sports is mildly more interesting.
