By calling a REST API and applying some clever scripting, I was able to reduce a potential list of video posts I have to migrate to a new system in a few weeks by two orders of magnitude. Not bad, if I do say so myself.

10 year old hardware runs Linux just fantastically. Install Windows on that same hardware and it's basically unusable.
