That's basically what it is: his party. And it's not one I want to be at any longer.

seriously. Done with it.

That's always welcome.

Even though the service has basically turned into the professional version of Facebook, that'd be one I would keep. Using it regularly is a different matter :)

when you build first party apps for Apple products and do little to nothing to improve the API so other apps can be built, that's kind of the expected result.

That applies to mostly the members, yes. Though I could argue Manton doesn't do such a great job of acting on said criticism.

As an example, I mentioned to Manton several months ago that a great place to put the "export your replies" link would be on the account page instead of buried on some help page somewhere. When I went to find said link last night, it's still buried on that same help page.

In many ways, micro.blog is evolving similar to ADN: a (mostly) paid service with an Apple-centric user base. It seems that Manton has little to no desire to change that, either.

Which, if that's what he wants, fine, but that's not what I want.

When I periodically delete tweets, I keep the tweet archives. Partially to feed a bot I have, but also because, well, I'm not sure why.

no idea, since it's only replies, but I'm an archivist :P
