The fact I own four different handsets isn't the point. The point is, when people ultimately do switch from Android X to Android Y, the experience is likely to be very different. And people who aren't geeks don't tend to cope with that kind of change well.

the one thing that can be said about iOS is that it's pretty consistent, even when you upgrade from one phone to the next. And yes, iOS changes things from version to version, but it's still pretty similar.

Android, on the other hand, is a different story. I've got four different handsets in reach and each one looks and acts different. As a geek, I can handle that, but the average person? ?

I'm not even allowed to book airfare unless I go through Concur or our corporate travel agency…and they pay for it directly. I would think, given the size of your employer, they would have a similar system set up.
