The fact I can use a random Wordpress blog (or maybe 10C soon if completes his work) to do it makes it a little more palatable, but still, it kinda has a "what's the point" feel to it.

Sure, it eliminates ads, but it doesn't really eliminate the major issue with centralized social media platforms (namely "someone else" gets to decide what I should and should not see in a non-transparent way).

That does not look pretty.

I'm gonna be honest, the more I look into micro.blog, the less I am enamored of the whole idea. It comes down to part of their "terms of service":

To combat this type of abuse and harassment, Micro.blog has a feature called Safe Replies. Safe Replies attempts to automatically catch potentially harmful replies to you from people you do not follow. We use this to help filter posts out of your timeline that you may not want to see.

Who decides what kind of reply is safe? And what if I decide I'm ok with it?

It sounds no better than Twitter, honestly, where at least I don't have to maintain a Wordpress site or pay someone $5/mo for the privilege of not doing so.

I wish there was an Android equivalent of Workflow.

@kdfrawg Part of the issue is our usual travel person is out on extended leave and I'm dealing with newbies who don't realize the rules are a little flexible for people who travel as much as I do.

I don't think I've ever had the displeasure of an ANA flight. Hopefully I never will.

Bangkok. The "alternative" airline choice was ANA through Narita.

It's a trans-Pacific flight and I'm not flying an airline I have no status on to save the company a few hundred bucks.

Coca Cola, now fortified with Fiber in Japan [coca-colacompany.com]. This is somehow healthy?

Yay, I get to argue with my travel department again. ?
