@kdfrawg I’m getting a small one so I can put it in my suitcase. Which will help.

@kdfrawg That may work for some trips, but not others.

I've done it on Windows in the past. This was the first time I tried it on the Mac. Since that's what I usually carry with me, I figured I'd better get it to work from there.

The sad thing is I remember doing mail merge in the 1980s on Microsoft Works on a Mac. We're talking labels and real letters here, not email. :P

@kdfrawg my boss thinks I need a CheckMates banner with me when I present. Which I don't think is a bad idea. It does increase the frequency which I have to travel and check luggage, which is…annoying.

You know you're in marketing when you're going to be carrying one of these [quickexhibits.com] around.

@kdfrawg because I intend to use it. :)

I just figured out Mail Merge on Office 2016 on the Mac. That's…dangerous.

The Bashware thing I mentioned earlier, we demoed the issue. The (very) short version of the video here. The tweet also has a link to more of the details.

Considering you can use it to hide from many anti-malware and "next generation" solutions…I'd say it's still an issue.

For those of you using Windows 10: you may not want to install WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux). It can be used for all kinds of goatse and fail.
