@kdfrawg I confirmed that I can drink the straight espresso shots from Starbucks, though they are a bit acidic. That said, the volume is quite small compared to, say, the brewed coffee, so I can manage.
Perhaps having a double shot of espresso after having a drink with six shots of espresso was not the wisest decision I've ever made. ?

My boss referred to me as "Lord of CheckMates" and "Steward of Copyediting."
Sounds like a compliment to me.
@jws The only thing I don't pay out-of-pocket for is airfare. Everything else is out-of-pocket and expense. They are pretty quick with reimbursement, though, as long as I get it in on time and it's in the policy guidelines.
On the plus side, I get that much extra cash back on my Costco Visa card at the end of the year :)
