@kdfrawg just like the rest of Amazon. I can't tell you how often I look at Amazon only (as opposed to first) when I want to buy something now thanks to Amazon Prime.
@matigo at least Amazon periodically gives you more bang for the buck by introducing newer, faster instances. That said, you still have to move to them…
@matigo I can expense it, so I'm not too worried about it. Also, I'm very aware of all these limitations and work to ensure I am not spending too much money.
@kyle That's not surprising at all. Amazon charges you for every little thing. You have to be mindful of all this when designing your application stacks, else you could cost yourself a fortune. :P
@matigo I did the math a long time ago and discovered that hosting my podcast on AWS would be a losing proposition.
I'm currently trying to run a demo for work, which of course creates and destroys lots of infrastructure in a matter of a few minutes.
One thing I will say about AWS: they make it real easy to spend metric shedloads of money.
@gtwilson I've seen some magsafe connectors where the cord runs parallel to the Mac (as opposed to perpendicular). I don't have those, and yes, I can see how they would be problematic.
