So I had lunch and my blood sugar went down. Yeah, that makes sense.
Down a pound and a half but have slightly elevated blood sugar. Gotta love that diabeetus logic.
@kdfrawg that weird day seemed to repeat. Something seems a little out of whack.
@matigo Personally, I think it was easier as you knew the day of the week was coming and you prepared for it accordingly. You also didn't travel half-way around the world such as is common today.
For example, when my boss flies to the US, he always stops in New York on the way back on a Thursday. He stays with a relative where he can keep shabbat, then flies back on Sunday.
@matigo Shabbat is just the "day of rest" (not really a holiday per-se, but is considered very important in the Jewish religion). And no, he can't use social media at all during shabbat. Can't do a lot of other things [chabad.org] either.
How I can tell my boss is off of Shabbat: he starts liking my social media posts.
Our patio is still not quite done. Specifically, it needs the electrical and gas to the fireplace. And granite for where the grill goes.
Meanwhile, I finally adjusted the sprinklers to the new reality of this large patio and finally turned on the zones I had left off for the last several weeks.
So, you know, progress.
