@matigo stayed up a little later than I was expecting… but that's how these things go.
It looks like phoneboy.com is up and running on the new VPS…and I even have a podcast queued up to publish in a few hours. It should publish, but you know how these things go.
@matigo the new VPS has double the monthly bandwidth, RAM, and CPU of my previous one. Not that I'm using anywhere near it's capacity now, but it's always nice to get better value for money… and upgrade to a later version of Ubuntu in the process.
@matigo it will be another week or two before I can do that, between the work to be done and my travels.
That didn't take nearly as long as I expected it to. phoneboy.com now running on new VPS. Also discovered some stuff had been broken for several months…like my webserver stats weren't generating…
@hybotics compared to the issues you’re having, my problems are entirely first world.
Maybe getting a new VPS and renewing my Trust.zone account around the same time wasn't the smartest financial decision I've made.
@kdfrawg I had been checking it at home, so I can't say I wasn't surprised by it. I was hoping it was just the machine, though…
