@literary sounds like great news
@matigo That happens in the NBA as well.
On the last game of the 8 city, 13 game stretch the Warriors had, there was a matchup with the San Antonio Spurs in San Antonio the day after a game in Minnesota. The Warriors rested their starters. So did San Antonio. Fans who showed up to see Steph Curry were pissed.
The NBA post-season is 4 7-game series. Could also be deemed excessive.

@matigo I didn't say it was too many for the players :P
One thing I like about the NFL: each team plays 16 regular season games over the course of 17 weeks. Individual games are far more meaningful than, say, a typical MLB season or even an NBA season (82 games). That said, the NFL offseason is a little too long.
// @jasonechols
@jasonechols The NBA has the same issue with back-to-backs, particularly for Western Conference teams. The Golden State Warriors had played in 8 cities coast-to-coast over the course of 13 days, which included a couple of back-to-backs.
Frankly, I don't think either the NBA or MLB need to play so many games. Either that or they can cut the preseason and make the actual season longer.
@jws you're certainly not getting too many "new" apps. That said, even my 3rd Gen iPod Touch (stuck on iOS 5) can still download the last version of iCatcher that supported that version…
// @matigo
@kdfrawg The hours are a little hard to read because of the color choice.
// @hazardwarning
@matigo Apple has already said that's the last iOS version you'll get. 32bit processors won't be supported going forward.
FWIW my iPhone 3GS can still access the App Store…
