Powered heavy cream [amazon.com] might be something I should "Subscribe and Save" to. Could see that being real useful for travel.
@larand The guy might be a quack but there are reputable studies that say the same thing [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]. Of course, it could be my confirmation bias speaking, but I already know what overconsumption of certain non-nutritive sweeteners does to my digestive system.
Seems like the only winning move is not to play.

Finally running Check Point R80.10 GA code on my home firewall. Hopefully I can leave it alone for a while.
@matigo it's pretty much everywhere, the difference being the variety of carbs.
Italy was all pasta and bread. Really tasty pasta and bread, but still, carbs.

@kdfrawg the one thing I've noticed in general is that the more I eat (regardless of what), the higher my blood sugar is.
// @larand
@kdfrawg some carbs are clearly better than others. Too bad they don't offer a "low carb" option on flights…that'd be nice.
@kdfrawg especially when you travel to countries that serve carbs, carbs, carbs, with a side of carbs.
@larand and sadly, because my in-laws are coming over for dinner, I'll probably have to eat dinner to be polite. That said, I've been measuring my blood sugar all day. It started at 153 this morning, it's down to 126 right now. So that's…something.
@larand that usually works as well, but since I don't always have a low-carb, high-protein option when traveling, I want to try this.
