@matigo and with everyone shouting down those outside their bubble, no one actually wants to talk to someone else about anything. đ
@whoisashygirl meanwhile, they say absolutely nothing about what else you can do to protect yourself from a bad Covid outcome. You know, basic things like diet, getting outside in the sun, and getting some exercise. Which, with the lockdowns youâre having down under, is probably a LOT harder.
@whoisashygirl itâs the whole âvaccines or elseâ mentality Iâm having a real problem with. And all the stuff George Orwell wrote turning into reality.
And, yeah, nothing about addressing the other conditions that kill more than Covid, yet weâre doing nothing about them. Most of those conditions, incidentally, make Covid worse if you get it.
@matigo it used to be partially based on my name, which made it easier to memorize. Now itâs WDL and a random string. May be something to do with the REAL ID act. Which also means my ID now includes RFID. đ
Meanwhile, in Washington State, the Department of Licensing offices are âsocially distancedâ and, of course, masked. Which, of course, you have to take off to get a photo taken.
And now I have a totally random drivers license number. Um, yay?
@variablepulserate or they donât object when the agency proposes it in response to âracial diversityâ or somesuch.

@variablepulserate a lot of teams are. I just happen to work for an Israeli company in a function thatâs mostly in Israel. It has pros and cons.
The problem with working with a team that is 10 hours ahead is you burn the candle at both ends. Also doesnât help the team will be largely on holiday for most of September, so the next few days will be stressful.
