@sumudu I can tell you five years ago, I would not be jogging 7+km. Ever.
I know a post a lot of before and after pics. Even I find this particular one from five years ago…shocking.

@matigo If I can use Lyft instead, I will. The drivers hate them a bit less. I also get Delta SkyMiles for using them, so there is that.
@lograh since I've started jogging, my knees remind me they're there. I've backed off a bit on the longer jogs.
@matigo Uber is not one of my favorite companies, but they've done one thing exceptionally well: made it easier for me to get a ride from point A to point B in more places. Either directly, because they provide the service, or indirectly, because they've forced everyone else to up their game.
Uber could easily raise prices and be in the black. People don't use it because it's the cheapest, they use it because it's the most convenient.
@variablepulserate There is no such thing as an unbiased news outlet. Never has been, never will be.
Want to know why a particular story is covered or not in your favorite news outlet? Just look at who pays the bills. Underwriters, sponsorship, advertising, call it whatever you'd like.
The only real difference between then and now is the number of outlets.
