@sumudu There are a few other choices, but no one takes them seriously. As I said, it's just like choosing political candidates :P
I don't really like iOS or Android anymore. It's almost like choosing between political candidates.
Since Apple won't let me delete the 40GBs of photos on my phone, I'm having to do a Factory Reset. This is going to be…fun.
@JeremyCherfas I do not listen to NPR on terrestrial radio. The only "NPR" show I listen to is Hidden Brain.
As for donating, when I do it, it's direct. I refuse to use Patreon or similar mechanisms.

@larand At least 3 of them are corporate related. The others, not sure why I have still have them, except for the other one that still has a 4 digit user ID…
Even with a password manager, changing passwords on a dozen or so Twitter accounts is a pain in the ass. Especially since they keep showing failbots every 10 seconds.
@larand I've long ago come to the conclusion that there's fuck all I can do to prevent people from tracking my every movement short of living in a cave somewhere. That said, I don't have to like it. :P

@larand This is about attempting to better monetize podcasting, plain and simple. Which, given the way NPR and their ilk operate, will, in some way, involve advertising. Which means collecting more data about us. And what better way to do that than acquiring a popular cross-platform podcast app?
"Nothing changes" at the moment, of course, but I wouldn't be shocked if this is how it goes down.
