Glad I haven't booked travel yet as it looks like some of my events are now overlapping.
@kdfrawg there are many ways to achieve the same result, true. We’re all different, with different underlying issues (physical and psychological).
That said, as my wife will surely attest, I am not one to do things moderately. That includes my meals. ?
@larand there's a reason I have a 6S Plus :P
That said, I'm not sure I want the bigger iPhone when I buy one next time…
@kdfrawg what he told me was that my A1C would likely go up half a point once I stopped taking Metformin, which would bring it to 5.5 (assuming I get to 5.0 and what he says is true).
But still, a lot of what I read suggests you can stop taking Metformin with A1C levels as high as 7.
@kdfrawg The problem is that you don't expend nearly as much energy as you think by exercising. There are other reasons you should exercise, of course, but exercise alone won't make up for a poor diet.
While I understand how society views it, I don't consider fasting extreme at all. In fact, it's a perfectly natural phenomenon. Think about what a bear does: it eats a lot during the spring and summer months, fattening itself up before it goes into hibernation for several months. During that time? The bear is definitely not eating. What keeps the bear alive? Stored body fat.
We have a 24x7 all-you-can-eat buffet at our disposal. We can eat and eat and eat, but unlike bears, we don't hibernate. Instead, we keep eating and get things like Type 2 Diabetes.
@indigo if I place a mobile order, they know I'm not THAT far away :P
// @matigo
@matigo meanwhile, I just did an internal order for one of our appliances and it's already been processed, less than 24 hours after I submitted it. Which is some kind of record as I've had license requests take longer than that :)
When I get the appliance will be a different question, but at least it's gone through the internal ordering process.
