Monday for us is a holiday in the US. ?

Been quite a long time since I got a new headset, but the new job requires me to do webcasts…and podcasts. So we’ll see how these Sennheiser SC 60 USB ML do.

So yeah, I podcasted [phoneboy.com].

I had a scramble of eggs, chicken, and cheese. And a handful of carrots. And a handful of almonds.

But as I thought about it: maybe it kinda does make sense. Eating in general generates a response by your body to create insulin. There was nothing in my meal that should have required much insulin. The result: lower blood sugar.

So I had lunch and my blood sugar went down. Yeah, that makes sense.

Down a pound and a half but have slightly elevated blood sugar. Gotta love that diabeetus logic.

@kdfrawg I think I feel alright.

@kdfrawg that weird day seemed to repeat. Something seems a little out of whack.

Personally, I think it was easier as you knew the day of the week was coming and you prepared for it accordingly. You also didn't travel half-way around the world such as is common today.

For example, when my boss flies to the US, he always stops in New York on the way back on a Thursday. He stays with a relative where he can keep shabbat, then flies back on Sunday.

Shabbat is just the "day of rest" (not really a holiday per-se, but is considered very important in the Jewish religion). And no, he can't use social media at all during shabbat. Can't do a lot of other things [chabad.org] either.
