I don’t think I expected my health journey to take me down the roads I’m currently going down. What you (don’t) eat is definitely important, but there’s so much more involved to truly get healthy.
@matigo it’s interesting that Apple is managing the battery charging differently, allowing it to discharge while plugged in, presumably in an effort to manage the battery health. Question is: will that actually work in the long term. 😬
So the M1-based MacBook Pro is quite nice. Still kinda annoyed about how the one work got won’t drive two external displays, but I like the battery life, and the fact it doesn’t burn my lap when I use it there.
@matigo just remember that Democracy is two foxes and a hen deciding what’s for dinner.
@matigo my bigger complaint is that it will only drive a singe external display. But, I have enough other computers around here to fill that gap. 🤪
Apparently the new MacBook Pro the day job sent me was an M1 model. So far, my only real complaint is the fact it has just two USB-C ports.
